1. Delivery Questions

How much is delivery?

Our system will automatically charge you a standard fee of R145 for local deliveries and R175 for national deliveries. No additional courier cost will be charged.

When will my delivery be?

An email will be sent out to you a day before delivery to inform you about delivery.

What time will courier arrive?

Delivery depends on your area and the couriers’ routes for the day. We cannot guarantee an exact time for our delivery partners.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3-5 working days after placing your order, but we do try to deliver as quickly as possible.

Can I track my order?

Unfortunately, we do not have a live tracking system, but the driver will call you when he is on his way.

Is there a way to set a specific delivery time?

We cannot guarantee an exct delivery time but can advise on an estimated delivery window in your area.

Am I able to collect my order?

Collection is allowed at our Centurion branch , but all orders are placed online and the system will automatically charge you a delivery fee. An extra meal will be included in your box to replace the delivery fee { this is excluding soups, topups, deserts & snack boxes).

Why was there no dry ice / ice packs in the cooler box?

We use dry ice that lasts up to 48hrs , which is sufficient to keep the meals frozen until deliver.

2. Product Questions

Are the meals frozen?

Our meals are frozen and will arrive frozen, always keep them frozen unless it is time to consume them.

How big are the meals?

We have different sizes of meals starting with the kids’ meals which are 250g, for the adults we have 350g, 500g and some 600g meals. The family meals are 1.8kg.

Are the meals safe for diabetic people? Keto friendly?

Our meals are not tailored to any specific diet however, we do offer a low carb low calorie box.

Can I have the nutritional information of all the meals?

We do have a nutritional table on our website for some meals, but upon request we can send you the requested relevant information . The sleeves and stickers on the meals do have the necessary nutritional information.

Which meals can help me lose weight ?

Like the absolute majority of meals, ours cannot guarantee weight loss as this is specific to the individiual, their needs, lifestyles, activity etc. Our meals are not tailored for a specific diet but the low carb low calorie box is designed with balanced portions and lighter options to support your weight goals.

Are our meals Halal?

Our meals are not Halal.

Are the meals safe for people with celiac disease?

Unfortunately not. We do offer gluten-free options. We cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination.

I am allergic to something (e.g. onion) can you remove it?

We do not customise individual meals. You are more than welcome to swap out meals.

Do your meals contain preservatives?

No. Our meals are made with fresh ingredients. We do not use preservatives.

Do you offer vegan or vegetarian meals?

Yes. We offer Vegan and Vegetarian meal boxes.

Do you offer Low-carb or Gluten-free meals?

Yes, we offer Low-carb and Gluten-free meals. However, we do not prepare meals for specific medical conditions.

Where are your meals prepared?

All meals are prepared in a certified kitchen following strict food safety guidelines.

3. Meal Storage & Prep Questions

How do I prepare the meals?

There are heating instructions provided on the sleeves / stickers of the meals.

Are the containers oven- and microwave-safe?

Yes. Our packing is designed for the microwave, oven and air fryer. Please remember to read the heating instructions, and remove any plastic film before heating the meal.

How long can I keep the meal in the fridge after I take it out of the freezer?

Once defrosted we recommend keeping the meal in the fridge for 1 day.

How long can the meals be kept for?

Our meals can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months from date of delivery.

What do I do if my meals arrive defrosted?

If the meals are still cold they can be consumed on the same day. If they are completely defrosted, please send us pictures and videos via email and we will assist you.

4. Ordering Questions

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click on forgot password on the login page and follow the steps to reset. If you have any issues feel free to contact us (sometimes the reset password email lands in your spam or junk folder)

How do I re-order?

On the app go to 'Orders' and you will see all your previous orders will appear on your screen. Select 'Reorder'.

How do I use my Dinnerdosh points?

You need to make sure you are logged into your account, click on the icon of the gift box on bottom left of your screen, it will open your screen and show you your points, select rewards, choose which discount you want to use and press claim.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can only be changed or cancelled before they are dispatched

Why are your meals so expensive?

Our prices reflect the quality of ingredients, freshness and portion size of every meal. We maintain a high standard of preparation and packaging to deliver nutritious meals. Prices can conveniently be offset by joinging the DinnerDosh rewards program.

Can I return my cooler box?

For health and safety reasons we cannot take back the coolers, you are more than welcome to discard them or donate them.

Are your 350g meals filling?

Yes. Our 350g meals are designed to be balanced and filling.

Do you provide meals for babies?

We offer kids meals , preferably from 3 years and older.
