All the meals were made with love, and we hope it comes through with the flavour.

01. On Delivery

Please get the meals into the freezer as soon as delivered.

02. Our Ingredients

All our meals are made from scratch - every onion is chopped on order just as if you were cooking it.
All our veg is fresh and sourced locally in support small local businesses.
Our meat is sourced from only the best butchers to ensure quality.

03. Defrosting

Please remember that we use no stabilizers, preservatives or artificial ingredients. In saying this, please keep in mind that when defrosting, do so slowly in the fridge overnight to achieve the best result.
Due to no stabilizers being used in our meals, defrosting may include a small amount of water which is completely natural. If you this does occur, heat it in the container and then plate it onto a dinner plate leaving the water behind.
If there is ice or water on the lid, please wipe it off with paper towel before defrosting to save this water from going into your meal.
You are welcome to heat from frozen - just remove the lid first - it will make more water if heated from frozen
Once your meal is defrosted, please eat it within one to two days - its real food, with a real life span :)
If kept frozen your meals are happy in the freezer for 2-3 months (they never usually last that long).

04. On Heating

All items have heating instructions but here are some extra notes.
The cooking times depend on your appliance so please watch your meal especially with oven heating.
You can heat from frozen if necessary.
Our plastic containers are microwavable - so you can heat them up in the container of needed. 3 mins on full power if defrosted should do it. (Without the lid)
Preferred method of heating is to heat in container then to plate the meals on a dinner plate this way any excess water gets left in the container first and then heat up - but there is a catch - you then have to wash the dishes :)
Our foil containers are microwavable (however the label will say not - its a new container and we have not changed the label yet), but heat up beautifully in the oven.
Lasagne, Cottage pie please heat in oven - 160 Degrees for 20 minutes. (if frozen 40 -50 minutes - heating from frozen here given best results )
Can you heat from frozen? Yes, 5 mins in microwave on full power should do it. Or double the time in the oven.
Please remove plastic sleeve before heating.

05. On Containers

We tried to use the biodegradable containers, but they do not freeze well so we had to go plastic - please please please recycle them or re-use them for kids lunches etc. As soon as we find a biodegradable solution that will work for everyone, we will go biodegradable.
Our foil containers are microwavable, despite what the label says.
We have recently moved to a sealer and not the loose lids anymore as this is much more hygienic and stable for delivery.
